What ages are Set Lab parties suitable for?
Set Lab parties are perfect for older kids and teens. Parties for younger children may also be available with smaller guest numbers — just get in touch and we can discuss what will work best for your group.
Can you provide party invitations?
Absolutely! Custom Set Lab party invitations are included and will be created to match your chosen theme, making the whole experience feel special from the very beginning.
How many guests can attend?
Set Lab parties have a minimum of 6 guests and can accommodate up to 20 guests. For parties of 15 or more, an additional Set Lab host is required and a $150 additional host fee applies.

How long does a party run?
Set Lab parties run for approximately 3 hours. Shorter party times can be accommodated where needed; however, some finishing may then be completed after the party, with the finished nail sets returned to guests afterwards.
Can we book a shorter party?
Yes. If your schedule or venue requires a shorter party time, let us know when enquiring and we can discuss the options. Please note that shorter party times do not change the party price, and some finishing may need to be completed after the event.
Where do you host parties?
We come to you! The Set Lab is based on Sydney’s North Shore and we travel to parties across Sydney. Travel within our local area is included, with an additional travel fee applying to locations further afield. Get in touch with your suburb and we’ll confirm any travel costs before you book.
What does each guest take home?
Every guest leaves with their own custom-designed set of press-on nails & a kit with the essentials to prepare, apply and care for their press-ons.
Do guests need any nail-art experience?
Not at all. No experience is needed — the experience is designed to be fun and creative for everyone.
Can we choose a party theme?
Absolutely. Choose from one of our Set Lab themes or tell us the vibe you have in mind when you enquire.
Do you cater for allergies or sensitivities?
Please let us know about any known allergies or sensitivities when enquiring or booking so we can discuss any requirements with you.
How do you make sure the nails fit each guest?
We’ve got that covered! Each guest’s nail sizing is organised before the party, so their Set Lab experience is personalised just for them.
What happens once we book?
Once your party is confirmed, we’ll work with you to personalise every detail and gather everything we need to prepare for the big day, including guest details and nail sizing.
How and when do I pay?
A non-refundable $150 booking deposit is required to secure your party date. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice for the deposit.
Final guest numbers and the remaining balance are due 14 days before your party, with a final invoice issued based on your confirmed guest numbers.
Bookings are subject to a minimum of 6 guests.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your booking deposit is non-refundable. Once final payment has been made and preparation for your party has commenced, cancellation fees apply. Full cancellation and rescheduling terms will be provided at the time of booking.
